Despite a multiyear renovation/expansion that has closed much of its facility, ZK/U (Center for Art and Urbanism) remains committed to its mission of developing projects that push boundaries, challenge conventions, build community, and support creativity in the urban setting of Berlin. In this vein, they welcome the public to help design their future program by participating in workshops related to the ZK/U environment: street art, urban practice, nutritional policy, care, climate resilience, working with wild bees, and much more.

From 3–6pm, several partners and artists offer free workshops and demonstrations, with The Ambeessadors inviting participants to help build two insect hotels that will eventually be installed on the facade that faces the adjacent community garden, where we also grow an educational pollinators’ garden.

Biotope continues with live music and food. Admission is free. Open to all. More info.
